Commercial Umbrellas Can Be Used For Large Private Residences

Do you have a large outdoor garden with trees, shrubs, lawn, pool etc.? Then beautiful designer commercial umbrellas can be the right accessory to make the place complete.  Since commercial umbrellas by definition are large size, they will not fit into a small patio area.  However, there are many large colonial mansions where people like to hang out in the outdoors a lot and even throw many parties.  In such cases, they would prefer a commercial umbrella which is larger to a regular residential patio umbrella.

With the wide use of a market umbrella and commercial umbrella even for private residences, manufacturers have started creating functional yet elegant looking commercial umbrellas that homeowners find attractive.  The outdoor market umbrella should combine functionality and style.  Then it will really stand out and visitors will admire the way it livens up your garden area.  The type of commercial umbrella you choose will depend on your budget, rest of the patio furniture, weather conditions and such.

If commercial market umbrellas are to be used on a lawn, then it could be wood based to go with your wooden patio furniture.  Combine this with matching canopy, cushions and rugs in bright coordinated colors and you will have a fantastic looking patio.  Of course most commercial umbrellas are used in coffee shops and outdoor restaurants.  After a hard day at work, many working people would like to unwind before going home.  This could be at a bar or a coffee shop where they can just relax, meet a friend and chill out before heading home.

After being cooped up inside an office the whole day, they may prefer to sit outside, watch the world go by and enjoy the stars and cool evening breeze.  To accommodate such clients, many bars, coffee shops and restaurants who have council permission to use the sidewalk or who have a small lawn will set up some market umbrellas to protect their clients in case of a light rain or late evening sun.  This will give them more revenue and their customers a lovely place to relax.

If the coffee shop combines a patio heater, then they will get a steady stream of customers even during the cooler seasons.  Patio heaters will help to regulate the outside temperature to create a lovely ambience.  So, a lot of customers will prefer going to a place where they can have a beer or coffee sitting out in the lawn or sidewalk rather than inside the bar having to contend with loud noise and cigarette smoke.  This is a great way to unwind after a long day before heading for home for dinner and bed.

In large residences, people can even combine using different types of umbrellas.  While a large commercial umbrella can be used on the lawn, an offset patio umbrella could be used near the pool.  This is the marvel of patio umbrellas for there are different types to suit different purposes and those with the space and the budget can go in for multiple styles.  What is more, patio umbrellas can even be decorated with festoons and LED lights so that an evening dinner party outdoors will look like fairyland with sparking lights strung around the edges of the patio umbrella.

Patio umbrellas are an investment that all homeowners would like to preserve and one way to do it is by finding out the best way to clean and maintain them.
•    Remove fabric
•    Dust
•    Use mild detergent
•    Clean poles according to instructions
•    Use cleaning brush
•    Hose down
•    Dry in the sun
If the fabric of your patio umbrella can be detached, then it is simpler to remove it, wash, dry and re-fix it.  Just make sure the material does not shrink for then it will never fit the frame again.

If you cannot remove it, dust the entire umbrella using a soft cloth.  Next create a mix of mild soap and water, wet the umbrella with a hose, use a soft cloth dipped in the detergent mix and wipe the canopy, frame, stand, pole, ribs etc.  Use a cleaning brush to remove hard to clean stains.  Hose down the entire umbrella after using the detergent and let it completely dry in the sun before using it.  If you do not plan to use it in winter, clean, dry and store your patio umbrella in a well aired storage space to prevent moss and mildew.
